GBAMT - Global Banking and Markets Technology provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Banking and Markets businesses. Provides application development and testing services across 700 applications covering Equities and FICC Trading segments for the Institutional Client Segment. Designs, architects and delivers technology solutions in a robust operating environment to drive growth for our Commercial, Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Markets clients. GSAC Global Strategy, Architecture and Core Platforms is a horizontal function across GBAMT lines of business providing Architecture and Quartz platform development employing resources with a niche skillset.


Job Description


At an individual level, the candidate is expected to have a strong analytical background due to the fact that he/she will be responsible for data analysis, reporting and presentation of critical Senior Leadership level data. The candidate should have basic understanding of Business Management routines such as Forecasting, Hiring process, Budgeting etc. Candidate should have a strong hands on experience with MS Excel and PowerPoint. Often, analysis will require consolidating data from multiple files/ systems and prepare reports or presentations for senior leaders. The candidate should have entrepreneurial spirit and be a self-starter who can work well both independently and with a team.


Strong communication skills are critical because the individual will need to work across multiple lines of business to gather and document new requirements. Candidates will be expected to provide senior management with Business Management updates on critical milestones, so they should feel comfortable communicating with people of varying levels of seniority throughout the organization. Additionally, working in a fast paced Banking organization, the individual will need to pay close attention to detail to ensure that requirements correctly satisfy the needs of the business. It will be necessary to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


Responsibilities

For the Internal BSM Team
Working closely with Delivery head and his/her direct leadership team.
Translate Business Strategy to tactical plan for the Delivery head
Build processes, procedures and systems that help drive and achieve Goals for the Process.
Analyze data and present the same to senior leadership team for decision making.
Help find simple solutions to complicated business problems.
Preparing presentations for business reviews with GDCE senior leadership team & LOB exec
Manage monthly management routines for the Delivery Head and his Leadership team
Coordination and follow up with support partners and delivery teams to ensure we meet our goals
Work closely with the Delivery Lead and his / her team as per requirement
Track projects and tasks to completion
Preparing reports / dashboards for the senior leadership team
Partner with Delivery Leaders to plan and execute , LOB visit , Offsite , workshops, planning sessions etc as per business requirement
Assist and coordinate with the Delivery Lead and his / her team for various tasks ranging from on-boarding, invoicing, resource movement, staffing, compliance trainings, project portfolio, staffing, etc.
Constantly look for opportunities to automate manual processes in Business Management Function


For the LOB BSM Team
Forecasting
Tracking of Hiring and progress
Invoicing
Owning the contents and conduct of the Business Reviews
Facilitating staff meetings, tracking and closing action items
Tracking and Reporting various KPIs and Metrics at a leadership level
Converting Problem Statements into implementation plans
Tracking and executing various routines and deliverables with regards to support partners like Finance, Business Continuity, Risk etc End to end resource management tracking
Interact with Senior leaders and various support partners
Scorecard Deck Preparation
Quarterly Business Review Analysis
SLT meeting deck preparation
Employee Satisfaction committee action items and documentation
SharePoint Site Updates
Self Identified Audit issue analysis
New hire and Attrition analysis
Internal systems Updation
Occupancy mapping
Invoice tracking
Single point of contact for Delivery teams for any queries


Requirements


Education: B.Sc, B.C.A, B.B.A, B.E/B.Tech, M.B.A, M.Sc, M.C.A, M.E/M.Tech
Exp: 8-12 Yrs

Mandatory Skill

Strong academic background with a graduation degree

8 years of total experience and more than 8 years of PMO / Business Management experience
Previous experience with PMO / Business Management function
Previous experience with vendor management related functions
Strong knowledge in MS office tools (Word ,Excel, PowerPoint) and MS outlook

Excellent interpersonal skills to work with the Senior Leadership team
Strong presentation and documentation skills using MS PowerPoint / MSWord / MS excel
Good business acumen, analytical and logical reasoning ability to take appropriate business decisions
Good MS Excel (Pivot, Graphs, Macros, Look-Ups and other important functionalities)
Ability to be proactive in catering to Leadership requirements
Ability to independently drive meetings and work with various leaders
Ability to learn / grasp things quick and drive initiatives proactively
Ability to Multitask and manage multiple work under pressure
Willingness to stretch and address issues maturely and proactively
Attention to detail is paramount
Act responsibly and have the courage to face the leadership team with confidence
Excellent Communication Skills
Mandatory Skills : MS office (Word ,Excel, PowerPoint) and MS outlook
