Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in APIs and the Payment Banking domain. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring seamless integration of APIs in payment systems. This role requires a strong understanding of payment processing, banking regulations, and API-based financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for API integrations in the payment banking domain.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business teams, product managers, developers, and QA teams, to define system requirements and API specifications.
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure APIs are designed, developed, and implemented in line with business needs.
- Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments for new API features and payment solutions.
- Define and document use cases, user stories, and workflows for payment processing and banking applications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, PSD2, ISO 20022) in API and payment transactions.
- Validate API responses, conduct UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and assist in troubleshooting integration issues.
- Keep track of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the API and payment banking landscape.
- Assist in post-implementation reviews and continuously improve API and payment solutions based on user feedback.

Required Skills:

- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the API and Payment Banking domain.
- Strong knowledge of payment processing systems, card networks, ACH, SWIFT, and real-time payment solutions.
- Hands-on experience in API documentation, JSON, XML, RESTful APIs, and API testing tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Open Banking standards, PSD2 regulations, and ISO 20022 messaging formats.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
