Job Brief
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive who combines expertise in traditional digital marketing (SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns) with proficiency in Generative AI tools (e.g., text-to-video platforms, content generators, image editors) to craft compelling campaigns. This role will be pivotal in building our online presence, optimizing marketing efforts, and driving customer acquisition in a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
1. Campaign Development & Execution
Design and execute digital marketing campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.) to boost brand awareness and lead generation.
2. Use Generative AI tools (e.g., Invideo AI, Canva AI, VidAU, ChatGPT) to create engaging ad content, including videos, graphics, and copy, with minimal resources.
3. Content Creation & Optimization
Leverage AI tools to generate blog posts, social media content, and email newsletters tailored to our target audience.
4. Optimize content using traditional SEO techniques (keyword research, on-page optimization) to improve organic reach.
5. Social Media Management
Manage and grow social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, etc.) with a mix of AI-generated and manually curated posts.
6. Analyze engagement metrics and adjust strategies to maximize reach and conversions.
7. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Monitor campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Insights, or AI-driven analytics platforms.
8. Provide weekly reports to leadership with actionable insights to refine marketing efforts.
9. AI Tool Integration
Stay updated on Generative AI advancements (e.g., text-to-video, image enhancement) and integrate them into marketing workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity.
10. Experiment with AI tools to automate repetitive tasks (e.g., A/B testing copy, generating ad variations).
11. Collaboration & Innovation
Work closely with the founding team to align marketing efforts with business goals.
12. Propose innovative, low-cost marketing ideas suited for an early-stage startup leveraging both AI and traditional methods.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience with traditional digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.).
Proven use of Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Midjourney, Invideo AI, Adobe Express) for marketing purposes.
Skills:
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media advertising.
Proficiency in AI-driven content creation (text, video, images) and ability to adapt outputs to brand voice.
Analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and optimizing campaigns.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative problem-solving and adaptability in a resource-limited setting.
Preferred:
Familiarity with startup ecosystems and lean marketing strategies.
Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, FlexClip).
