[E-263] DGM-Finance Controller

We are hiring for Mahindra & Mahindra, Mumbai. Candidates only from Manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Key roles & responsibilities:

1. Financial MIS to Corporate:

- All Corporate Submissions / MIS - Monthly P&L; & Balance Sheet / Quarterly Beginning Estimates in Hyperion / Quarterly Tax Estimates where accuracy & timeliness is the crux
- Variance Analysis of P&L; & Balance Sheet and providing Explanations about such Variances to Corporate & Auditors. The Variances are at multiple levels (Variable & Fixed Costs Level/ Working Capital Levels / Fixed Capital Levels & at the same time for multiple periods every Month / Quarter & Year End e.g. – Trailing Quarter / YTD Quarter / Budget / QBE / ATE / For the Quarter & Cumulative
- Flashing the Variances in Hyperion with Various Forms to make sure those are available to Corporate for Seamless View and Analysis
- Providing information for the M&M; AGM & MEAL AGM
- CL Statements preparations / Review / Submissions.

2.Statutory Audit:

- Audit Submissions / Discussions with Auditors at various Stages / Handling queries till the Board Meeting / Providing satisfactory explanations about business and the Items of P&L; & balance Sheet.
- Taking Care of Disclosure Requirements for MEAL and providing the same in Hyperion & to Auditors
- Annual Reports printing as part of in Consolidated M&M; Group Annual Report Printing
- Inter Company Eliminations (ICP) to ensure in Hyperion related Trouble Shooting to facilitate Group Consolidation of Accounts at M&M; Group Level
- Co-ordinating with Auditors for various Certificates that are required by Govt Authorities / Regulatory Authorities etc. including Certificates in the event of Mergers etc.

3.Regulatory & Compliance:

- Keeping updated on the Changes in the IND AS which is an Indian Version of ICFR and implementing the same across Auto Sector Recent Examples - Ind AS 115 / Ind AS 116
- Micro Medium & Small (MSME) Compliance
- Quarterly SEBI Reporting
- CFO Report – Preparation / Reviews and getting Signed from CFO & CEO / JMD / COO
- CFO Certificate - Preparation / Reviews and getting Signed from CFO & CEO / KMD / COO

4.Controller’s Function:

- Monitoring Controls through COSO Framework. (The COSO Framework is a system used to establish internal controls to be integrated into business processes.) COSO is an acronym for the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations.
- Continuous Control Monitoring through the Tool implemented couple of years ago. IFC Testing / Reviews & Co-ordination with Units till the Board Reporting. Internal Audit Reports (CMS Reports) Regulations, Follow Up for Actions and presenting Status to CFO
- UAR & AVM Monitoring & Reviews , Escalations & Follow Ups
- SOD Conflicts Regulation , Reporting and Monitoring
- Ethics Counsellor’s Co-Ordinator for the MEAL

5.Balance Sheet Budgeting, Cash Flow Planning & Actuals:

- Balance Sheet Budgeting
- Depreciation Forecasts
- Amortisation Forecasts
- Actual Depreciation / Amortisation Comparisons and Reviews
- Seamless Loading of Budgets in Hyperion by using various Forms
- Cash Planning & Working Capital Management & Improvement - Through Monitoring -Monthly Cash flows / Reporting & Roll Over Cashflow
- Cash Forecasts on Monthly & Weekly basis with Iterations
- Daily Cash Planning and Funds allocation at Sector Level / Corporate Slice payment decision

6.GST Accounting & Payments

Qualification & Experience Required:

- Chartered Accountant with 12-15 years of experience
- Automobile or similar large Manufacturing setup
- Knowledge of F&A;, Accounting standards, Evaluations, Revenue recognitions, Financial statement analysis and projection and other financial concepts
- Keep well-informed of developments and best practices in the F&A; field
- Understanding of taxation laws applicable
- Understands the Company Law requirements and keeps abreast of the changes in the compliance requirements
- Strong communicator and collaborator
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work comfortably under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
