We are hiring a Key Account Manager for our solar and Grid-Tie Inverter product segments. The incumbent should have solid sales and progressive business development experience of 5+ years with a proven track record of building a strategic sales team and driving continuous revenue growth. For this role, a good understanding of the Solar Industry and products like Grid-TIE Inverters would be necessary, along with strong team-building and management skills. The desired candidate must be a go-getter and self-motivated to work in a competitive environment and would be responsible for market expansions.

The position is based out of our corporate headquarters at Gurugram, Haryana.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Solar and Grid-Tie Inverters.
- Lead, Mentor, and motivate the sales team, providing guidance, support, and training and continuously improving performance.
- Establish sales objectives, quotas, and KPIs in alignment with organizational goals, and monitor team progress towards meeting and exceeding targets.
- Identify new business opportunities and market segments for expansion, leveraging industry trends, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
- Build and curate strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders, representing the company as a trusted advisor and solution provider.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, product development, and operations teams to drive product innovation, enhance customer value propositions, and optimize sales processes.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses to executive leadership, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead by example through active participation in sales activities, customer meetings, and industry events, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
Experience & Skills:
- A minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the solar, inverter, battery industry, or renewable energy sector.
- The candidate must have a proven track record in developing and executing strategic sales plans, driving revenue growth, and achieving business objectives.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower individuals to excel in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach and a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Proven analytical abilities, with the capacity to analyze market data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite for sales tracking, reporting, and forecasting purposes.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry conferences, and visit regional offices.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a relatedfield.
