Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Lead for our Assisted Growth function (telesales and chat sales) to manage a high-performing telesales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in telesales leadership, a keen focus on financial performance (P&L; management), and a deep commitment to fostering a positive team culture and maintaining employee happiness. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring that both sales goals and team morale are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
1. Team Leadership and People Management
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team size of ~80+ to achieve and exceed performance targets Develop and implement strategies to enhance team productivity, performance, and engagement
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, encouraging a supportive and results-oriented work environment
- Provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and develop personalized growth plans for team members
2.P&L; Management
- Oversee the team’s P&L; to ensure profitability while maintaining budgetary control over costs, revenues, and other financial metrics
- Develop and execute strategies to increase sales revenue while managing costs effectively Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize financial performance
3.Sales Performance and Strategy
- Develop and execute telesales strategies to achieve the team’s sales objectives and KPI's
- Ensure sales targets are consistently met or exceeded by managing daily, weekly, and monthly performance
4.Culture and Employee Happiness
- Promote and uphold the organization’s core values, ensuring they are reflected in the team’s interactions and work ethic
- Plan and organize team-building activities, events, and initiatives to boost morale and maintain a fun, engaging, and motivating work environment
- Recognize and celebrate team successes, ensuring that achievements are acknowledged and rewarded
5.Reporting and Communication
- Provide regular reports on team performance, financial results, and employee engagement to senior management
- Communicate clear expectations to the team and ensure alignment with organizational goal
- Act as the liaison between the telesales team and upper management to address any challenges or opportunities
6.Stakeholder Management
- Act as the key liaison between the telesales team and the Growth Team to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment on goals
- Maintain strong relationships with senior leadership and other key stakeholders, ensuring regular updates on team performance, financial status, and overall strategy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that telesales strategies align with broader company objectives and initiatives
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a telesales role, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L;, budgeting, and forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and leadership
- Ability to drive results while maintaining a positive and motivating work environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analyticaly
- A passion for people development and a commitment to fostering a happy, high-energy team culture
Additional Requirements
Strong proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).Flexibility to adapt to changes in the business environment and work under pressure.Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
