Job Description : Senior Concept Designer

Domain: Retail domain

Qualification -NID Designer or Architect with Interior Design background

Experience - 5 ‐ 6 yrs professional work experience in specialized Interiors /

Retail design vertical.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Work in a team of Designers & report to Team Head / Design Director

• Interaction for the design brief from the Internal Team/Sr. Management/Client etc.

• Minuting the brief & confirming the same to the client.

• Working and conceiving the design directions for the given projects

• Involving / Working on the Design Concept with references, mood boards and sketches.

• Providing the concept sketches, 3D rendered images/walkthrough/references depending on the design presentation.

• Working on presentations of the of the assigned design concept.

• Zoning, circulation & working on Layouts of the approved design project.

• To guide/assist other designers in design & concept presentations.

• Preparation of design intent drawings.

• Knowledge of materials finishes etc., for suggesting as a part of design. Good knowledge of working / detailing for basic understanding of work process.

• Maintaining of related Document process till the client acknowledges the receipt.

• Briefing project team on all design details, design intent.

• Visiting Sites with project team & checking design adherence.

• Co-ordination with client for any clarifications / issues at site & recording the same for continuity.

• Validating detailed drawings done by the technical team members for design adherence.

• Developing the design manual after the project completion.

• Maintaining the design presentations & documenting the projects by photographs/manuals & other rough sketches/concept evolved for the design project & handing over the whole set after completion to Director-Design.

• Co- Ordinating & maintaining good relationship with the co-staff.

• Any other work assigned from time to time by Team Heads / Directors.
