Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are recruiting for an Assistant
Manager in the Information Technology Support (ITS) team. Working as an Assistant
Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

Managing IT Support
Operations of local site as well as remote site and providing assistance to business

Possessing specialist knowledge of key
applications and providing technical support to business users

Tracking technical queries to closure and
ensuring incidents / queries are responded to within SLAs

Responsible for ensuring RCA (root cause
analysis) is done for repeat issues and following up with development team to
ensure hot-fix / permanent solution is deployed

Maintaining and updating technical documents and

Delivering regular trainings of identified
applications to business users

Preparing maintenance plans and managing regular
maintenance of application (backup, security audit, BCP, etc.)

Providing application-wise performance, incident
and utilization reports to management

Ensure consistency and quality of support is provided
by team to all business users within the defined timelines

Liaison with Business Team and Technology team (Infra,
Project, system owners) and ensure Business team gets necessary and adequate
support within SLAs to ensure business is as usual

Drive relationships with key stakeholders and
maintain high degree of rapport with business users, system owners and
additional support teams required for ensuring smooth functioning of application

Essential skills required

Education / professional

B.E / MBA / MCA from Tier 1 or Tier 2 College;

Prior Experience:

6 years of relevant
experience in a similar role, particularly in a leading consulting firm will
be preferred

Technical skills

Highly articulate with excellent communication
and presentation skills

Strong administrative skills

Sound working knowledge of Java, Activiti BPM or
any Business Processing Modelling tool

Working knowledge of Database SQL

Experience with managing configurations for
Sharepoint sites

Behavioral / team skills

Performance oriented, objective based work ethos

Ability to work with dynamic requirements

Ability to work under pressure and handle aggressive

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Critical thinking and a solution-oriented

Ability to communicate articulately and

Highly effective stakeholder management and
relationship skills

Strong Technical/troubleshooting skills.

Ability to manage mid-sized teams including
performance reviews, career planning
