Job DescriptionSenior Project Manager with > 5 years of hands-on project or programme delivery experience across large multi-year projects, with a demonstrable focus on risk, governance and efficiency. The incumbent must take full responsibility and accountability, apply lessons learned, define roles and responsibilities, lead project planning and tracking, perform risk management, apply best practices, communicate to the project sponsors and teams, must promote client involvement, mentor, promote good working relationships, and must be an individual to make things happen.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a project management scope of work and detailed plan to deliver the required solutions in accordance with PMP standards and principles
Develop project documentation including scope of work, budget, timelines and acceptance criteria
Provide status reporting to senior management against milestones & budget, including any issues or risks identified
Engage and drive stakeholders in TSS and within the broader GTO team to deliver to the project plan, within scope, on time and to budget
Identify, mitigate and communicate key assumptions, issues, risks and dependencies to master projects & relevant control and governance committees.
Document any identified required changes, and communicate them to the relevant parties Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders Ensure internal process, standards and risk compliance (including security, regulatory and audit requirements) are met
Ensure resource availability and allocation
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Pursue opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work across multiple projects/ initiatives at the same time
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Strong technologist, with the ability to understand complex issues and participate in discussions with technical engineering teams
Possess knowledge of banking systems with an ability to problem solve
Self-starter and ability to work under pressure
Strong project management experience with the ability to work on multiple projects
Excellent interpersonal skills which lend themselves to team-oriented approach and able to work effectively as part of a team and as an individual
Ability to think clearly and to resolve critical problems in a high pressure environment
Strong MS Excel, Microsoft Office/ Project skills
Effective verbal and written communication abilities, across all levels of the organisation
Fluent in written & verbal English
Be highly numeric with the ability to manage complex financials
Good influencing skills
Solid organisational skills including attention to detail and multitasking ability
Excellent academic track record with a minimum of a Bachelor s degree in a Business, Computer science or technology discipline, and preferably a Master s or equivalent.
PMP and / or Agile Certified
