The role

EHS Supervisor

Your responsibilities will include:

- Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that health and safety regulations, legislation, policies and minimising occupational risk in the work place is followed.
- Managing and directing the site teams in achieving EHS targets and objectives.
- Directing development, maintaining and achieving goals in support of corporate and business group’s EHS strategic initiatives.
- Supporting creation of EHS goals for the project team and appropriate activity based goals for the leadership team, project managers and other members to drive EHS culture, compliance and results
- Facilitating risk assessment at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects.
- Developing and maintaining safety and health programmes and policies.
- Inspecting and assessing work areas, equipment and processes for safety.
- Determining appropriate leading and lagging indicators to track performance against targets and objectives.
- Understanding and documenting compliance with the local regulations.
- Driving and promoting zero incident EHS culture throughout the site.
- Leading incident response policy development, training and implementation.
- Creating training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and tracked completion.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

The requirements

Your experience, knowledge and skills need to include:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role at a supervisory level.
- Working experience in a construction or consultancy industry.
- Local experience and language skills.
- Extensive knowledge in EHS programmes and compliance issues.
- Good IT skills.


- A degree qualification in environmental, safety or related subject is essential for client approval.
- A health and safety certification i.e. NEBOSH or IOSH.
- A member of a relevant professional body.
