Position Title Technical Design Expert-Service Modelling & SR
Job Description Create the detailed IT solution/service design, based on functional specifications, to meet quality and performance requirements and technical constraints. Own, create, enhance and optimize the technical solution design of all ServiceNow based Service Modeling, Service Catalog and Service Request solutions including template as well as non-template workflows. Ensure appropriate adaption of new ServiceNow Service Management capabilities.
- Create the detailed process designs necessary to operate the software/service on a day-to-day basis - Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development,
execution and operations of software/service - Peer review and sign off detailed designs by business. - Ensure that detailed designs adhere to solution architecture design (i.e. high level conceptual design) and are traceable to functional as well as non-functional requirements in functional specification - Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services - Take accountability to ensure adherence with Security and Compliance policies and procedures within Service Delivery scope - Collaborate with end user experience team to ensure high quality, engaging solution designs
- Detail design signed off by business and delivered in time as per project plan - Detail design adherence to solution architecture and architecture roadmaps - Detail design handover to operations signed off - User experience and service performance acceptance from end users, measured through end user satisfaction survey.
Minimum requirements Has relevant technical degree / diploma (e.g. in Engineering, Computer Science, IT Technology) and specialized knowledge English 8 years of experience in service management solution design including the area of service catalog, service request management, service modeling and workflow Senior expert in understanding business needs and transitioning them into scalable solution designs, considering end user experience as well as service provider efficiency Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking, proactive work style, strong analytical and problem solving skills, open to new learnings Excellent communication and team collaboration skills Strong ability to interact and operate in an international environment, across various domains, functions and levels Capable to interact in business (non IT) language Bachelor degree in IT, Engineering or equivalent Deep Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and modules. Experience with Agile tools and techniques. Experience with application development and methodologies, ITIL / GxP
