Job Description

Product Manager - ( SAV00000C )


Achievement of Business Plans in identified Product lines
Ownership of Segmental offerings in identified business segments
Responsible for driving / automation of system developments / enhancements to streamline / improve efficiency of product & process delivery within given timelines

Understanding and identification of opportunities in market segments and develop new product/customer experience concepts in line with business as well as market requirements
Periodic benchmarking of competition offering and propose recommendations/action to improve in existing product offering to create unique customer experience

To drive initiatives for new and existing liabilities products across product lifecycle
To institutionalize process/product pricing/channel engagement frameworks
To conceptualize and drive product performance parameters across acquisition avenues
To facilitate the banks retail as well as corporate franchise with product related sales enablers for timely business opportunities through product enhancements, sales enablers, business analytics and continuous interactions
To work closely with Marketing and Business Groups for product visibility in the market and direct to customer engagement
Periodic study of Product Portfolio on performance parameters and design customer engagement initiatives accordingly
To co-ordinate with Customer Service, Operations and Technology verticals for digitization initiatives and simplification of internal as well as external processes

Knowledge Management Training material, skill development initiatives in consultation with HCM & Branch Banking Leadership for relationship team
Spend time on self-learning through emphasis on on-the-job training and learning

To co-ordinate with various teams for regulatory and legal compliance requirements and internal policy definitions/adherence
To mitigate Market Risk to ensure Product Proposition remains relevant in the market

Periodic branch/customer visits for structuring product/process/pricing requirements for quality SA acquisition for identified business segments

Periodic interaction with relevant product teams for discussion & closure of relevant cross sell opportunities and attach the same as a part of the segmental/product bundled propositions

Proposing & designing digital solutions for customers in identified business segments

Periodic interaction with Operations on improvement or simplification of existing processes

Purpose of Interaction

To understand banking requirements & incorporating smart solutions in existing & new product offerings. Also to understand and facilitate consistent customer service experience across customer life cycle

To scope digital/outsourcing solutions to integrate in product solutions / process re-engineering



6-8 years of experience

6-8 years of experience either in Channel Sales or Product/Process management in Liabilities space in a Bank

Primary Location : India-Maharashtra-Mumbai
