Job Description:
Risk Reporting organization is strategically building out a team in Bangalore. The role will be focused towards Legal Entity Risk Reporting for EMEA region.

This position is at the Analyst level, with an emphasis on day to day production of comprehensive, timely, accurate reports; implementing appropriate controls; and creating efficient processes. Additionally, the right candidate should be able to manage smooth migration of processes, interaction with risk reporting teams and stakeholders in other regions as well as being involved in discrete projects.

Job Responsibilities

The position is at the Analyst level with an emphasis on knowledge of Credit, Market Risk and financial derivative instruments with focus on creating controlled and efficient risk reporting processes.

- Ensuring best in class quality of reporting and timely delivery - Day on Day as well as Monthly Risk Reporting - Reporting Risk Metrics and sensitivity moves for various EMEA Legal Entities.
- Working with the Risk Projects team to drive continuous improvements, building efficient processes and engage in Strategic Projects
- Interfacing with Risk Managers, Finance, Technology and other reporting teams across various regions.
- Perform independent review of the reports prior to distribution

Training and migration of reporting processes from other EMEA regions
Implement robust quality assurance checks and controls through the reporting processes

Support in ad-hoc analysis of credit or market risk data
Involvement in regional/global projects and people agenda working groups


Relevant experience in financial services industry (1-3 years)
Knowledge of market risk metrics and financial products is a plus
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Access and VBA
Proficiency using Bloomberg, Reuters and other market data tools is required
Ability to work and solve problems independently, and be able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment
Attention to detail
Strong organization and processing skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to improve current processes and achieve efficiencies
Team player who can interact at ease with colleagues of various levels
Self-motivated, and comfortable working with large amounts of data
B.Com/BSC/BE degree required. MBA or Master’s degree in Finance preferred.
CFA or FRM certification is a plus
