Job Title: National Key Account Manager – E-commerce & Q-commerce
Department: Sales
Reports To: Head – Sales
Location: Mumbai
Experience Required: 5–10 years
Education: MBA in Sales & Marketing or related field preferred
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Key Account Manager – E-commerce & Q-commerce to spearhead our online sales strategy across major digital platforms in India. This role demands strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the e-commerce/Q-commerce ecosystem, and the ability to drive business growth while managing key accounts nationally.
Key Responsibilities
1. National E-com & Q-com Strategy
- Develop and implement growth strategies for national-level e-commerce and q-commerce platforms.
- Identify suitable platforms, negotiate contracts, and drive platform-specific growth initiatives.
- Ensure optimized product listings, visibility, and conversion.
2. Performance Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Plan and lead national online performance marketing campaigns in coordination with internal marketing teams.
- Design and execute promotional strategies, partnerships, and digital activations tailored for each platform.
3. Business Performance & Data Analysis
- Track and analyze sales performance, traffic, conversions, and ROI across platforms.
- Leverage data insights to refine product assortment, pricing, and marketing strategies.
- Monitor daily/weekly/monthly dashboards and recommend action plans.
4. P&L; Management
- Manage the P&L; of the national e-commerce/q-commerce channel.
- Set sales targets, control budgets, and improve profitability metrics.
- Optimize cost structures through negotiation and data-driven planning.
5. Key Account & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with category managers and business teams across platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, BigBasket, etc.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners for smoother execution of business strategies.
6. Competitive Intelligence & Market Trends
- Stay updated with industry trends, new launches, and competitor strategies.
- Provide periodic market insights and recommend counterstrategies to maintain competitive edge.
7. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Liaise with supply chain, operations, customer service, finance, and marketing teams to ensure seamless execution of plans.
- Drive alignment with business goals and ensure delivery excellence.
Who We're Looking For
- Educational Background: MBA in Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline preferred.
- Experience:
5–10 years in E-commerce/Q-commerce or Key Account Management in FMCG.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of e-com business models and prior experience with platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, and BigBasket.
- Track Record: Proven success in managing national key accounts and scaling digital business.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Hands-on experience in managing P&L;, campaign planning, and joint business plans.
Preferred Experience
- Prior role as a Category Manager with an E-com/Q-com platform or as a Key Account Manager for digital channels in FMCG.
- Exposure to multi-category or food/FMCG brands .
