As we enter our next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced Head of Technology to lead our engineering organization, define the technical roadmap, and ensure secure, scalable,
and innovative product development in the fintech and Web3 space.
Position Summary
We’re looking for a technical leader with 15+ years of experience in software engineering and a proven track record in fintech, payments, and blockchain/Web3 ecosystems. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist and strong leader who can architect complex systems, mentor high-performing teams, and align technology with business strategy.
This role involves building wallet infrastructure, cross-chain payment systems, APIs, SDKs, and developer tools while ensuring compliance, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, secure, and high-performance systems for payments and Web3 integrations
- Design and manage backend infrastructure using Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Oversee mobile application development in Flutter, ensuring smooth cross-platform UX
- Build and maintain robust APIs, SDKs, and developer tools for merchants and partners
- Drive adoption of best practices in software engineering, DevOps, and security (PCI-DSS, encryption standards, KYC/AML workflows)
- Mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams across frontend, backend, and blockchain stacks
- Collaborate closely with product, compliance, and business teams to deliver market-leading fintech solutions
- Evaluate emerging technologies (AI/ML, zero-knowledge proofs, CBDCs) and drive innovation
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering, with experience in leadership roles (CTO, VP Engineering, Head of Technology)
- Deep expertise in fintech and payments ecosystems, including UPI, cards, Web3 wallets, BNPL, merchant solutions, and digital payment infrastructure
- Strong backend engineering experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Proficiency with Flutter for building secure,
high-performance mobile apps
- Proven track record in building API-first architectures, SDKs, and developer platforms
- Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and scaling high-availability systems
- Solid grasp of security best practices, PCI-DSS compliance, encryption protocols, and data privacy regulations
- Strong leadership, team-building, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with blockchain protocols, token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721), and Web3 integrations
- Exposure to global payment systems and multi-currency platforms
- Knowledge of AI/ML applications in fintech (fraud detection, personalization)
