Software Support

Experience: 1 Years

Education: BCA,MCA, BE IT, Computer Engineer, BE Computer Science, Hardware and Networking Courses

Job Description :

Installation & configuration of a companys computer hardware operating systems and applications. Hands on experience of Mysql /SQL server backup and restore. Understanding of Microsoft.Net framework and troubleshooting.

Software installation at client place

Training to a customer of the Solution.

Maintenance and monitoring of computer networks and systems.

Logging the queries of customers and employees.

Analysis of call logs in order to discover any underlying issues or trends.

Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.

Testing and evaluating new technology.

Performing electrical safety checks on the companys computer equipment.

Responding to call-outs in a timely fashion.

Following instructions, either written or in diagram form, in order to set up a system or fix a fault.

Research and identify solutions to software and hardware issues.

Ask customers targeted questions to quickly understand the root of the problem.

Track computer system issues through to resolution, within agreed time limits.

Talk clients through a series of actions, either via phone, email or chat until theyve solved a technical issue.

Properly escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams (e.g. software developers).

Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.

Refer to the internal database or external resources to provide accurate tech solutions.

Prioritize and manage several open issues at one time.

Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems are fully functional after troubleshooting.

Prepare accurate and timely reports.

Document technical knowledge in the form of notes and manuals.

Maintain jovial relationships with clients.

Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance upgrades.

Setting up accounts for staff, ensuring that they know how to log in.

Solving password problems.

talking to clients and computer users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter.

responding to breakdowns.

Repairing equipment and replacing parts.

Supervising junior engineering and technical staff.

Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings.

Maintaining records of software license.

Managing stocks of equipment, consumables and other supplies.
