Role Overview
As an Inside Sales Executive , you will be the first point of contact for homeowners in Kochi exploring interior projects. Your role is to consult, educate, and convert leads into SmartSelect customers , providing clarity amidst the overwhelming decisions homeowners face around designers, contractors, and product choices .
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Conversion & Consultative Sales
- Engage with inbound leads from marketing channels, Kolo Live sessions, apartment group campaigns, and referrals.
- Understand homeowner needs deeply — from design concepts to product selection and contractor evaluation .
- Position Kolo SmartSelect as the most comprehensive solution for all their interior needs.
- Drive consultative selling , focusing on value, quality, and peace of mind , not just price.
- Achieve and exceed monthly conversion and revenue targets .
2. Homeowner Education
- Simplify the complex world of interiors:
- How to choose designers who fit their style and budget,
- How to compare contractors for reliability and cost-effectiveness,
- How to select the right products — kitchens, wardrobes, finishes — based on deep evaluation data .
- Explain SmartSelect packages (Vision, Clarity, Guide) clearly and build confidence in Kolo’s process.
- Handle objections and show homeowners ROI on SmartSelect fees through savings and quality assurance.
3. Pipeline & CRM Management
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all leads, follow-ups, and conversion stages in the CRM.
- Prioritize leads for faster closure and smooth hand-off to advisory and fulfillment teams .
- Share weekly reports on funnel performance and homeowner trends.
4. Market Feedback & Insights
- Gather insights from conversations to identify gaps in product and service offerings.
- Be the voice of the homeowner internally, helping Kolo continuously improve.
RequirementsExperience:
- 1–3 years of inside sales experience in home interiors, real estate, lifestyle products, insurance, or other high-ticket B2C categories .
- Freshers with exceptional communication skills and strong drive are welcome to apply.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong verbal and written communication in English and Kannada (Hindi is a plus).
- Consultative mindset – ability to deeply understand customer needs and guide decision-making.
- Familiar with CRM tools and disciplined in pipeline management.
- High ownership, persistence, and hunger to exceed sales targets .
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly Conversions: Number of homeowners upgraded to SmartSelect.
- Revenue Targets: Achieving city revenue goals.
- Lead Conversion Rate: % of qualified leads converted to paying customers.
- Homeowner Satisfaction:
Measured through surveys and repeat referrals.
- Cross-Sell Success: Uptake of product catalog purchases (modular kitchens, wardrobes, etc.).

Compensation
