Overview
The Social Media Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing
social media strategies for multiple agency client accounts to enhance brand awareness,
engage audiences, and achieve client-specific business objectives. This role involves
creating tailored content, analyzing performance metrics, managing client relationships,
creating reports and analysis to clients, and participating in client meetings to ensure
alignment with their goals.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy Development: Design and execute customized social media strategies
and content calendars for each client, aligning with their unique goals, such as
brand visibility, audience engagement, or lead generation.
• Content Creation: Develop, curate, and schedule high-quality content (text,
images, videos, and other media) tailored to each client’s brand voice and target
audience across platforms like X, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and
others.
• Platform Management: Oversee and manage multiple client social media
accounts, ensuring timely, relevant, and brand-consistent posts.
• Audience Engagement: Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and
mentions on client accounts to foster community engagement and build
relationships with their audiences.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key performance metrics (e.g.,
engagement rates, reach, impressions, conversions) using tools like Google
Analytics, Hootsuite,
or platform-specific insights, and prepare detailed, client-
facing reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Client Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client
accounts, maintaining regular communication to understand their needs, provide
updates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Client Meetings: Participate in and occasionally lead client meetings to present
strategies, campaign results, and performance reports, while addressing client
feedback and aligning on future plans.
Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns for clients,
including paid advertising, influencer partnerships, and promotional initiatives, to
drive traffic and meet client objectives.
• Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices
to provide innovative solutions and maintain a competitive edge for clients.
• Collaboration: Work closely with agency teams (e.g., digital marketing, creative,
and account management) to align social media efforts with broader client
campaigns and ensure cohesive messaging.
• Brand Advocacy: Ensure all content and interactions reflect each client’s values,
tone, and objectives, acting as a brand ambassador for multiple accounts.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or agency
account management, with a focus on managing multiple client accounts.
• Proven success in growing social media presence and engagement for diverse
brands.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best
practices.
• Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite,
Buffer, Sprout
Social) and analytics platforms.
• Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills for Canadian and US
markets, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different clients and platforms.
• Experience with client relationship management, including presenting to clients
and handling feedback professionally.
• Creative skills for producing engaging visuals, videos, or graphics (experience with
tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar is a plus).
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights in client
reports.
• Excellent organizational and skills to manage multiple client accounts, campaigns,
and deadlines simultaneously.
• Knowledge of paid social media advertising (e.g., Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, X Ads) is a
plus.
• Proactive, adaptable,
and able to thrive in a fast-paced agency environment.
• Ability to quickly learn our internal systems, processes, and platforms for client
management, email, team collaboration.
