- Subject Matter Expert in Lloyds accounting and relevant reporting, General Accounting, Expense Allocations, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Reconciliations, etc.
- Good knowledge on Syndicate accounting and three underwriting years, Reinsurance to Close (RITC) /Estimated Future liability (EFL)
- Booking of Solvency II adjustments like Goodwill and DAC Write off, Re class and other calculations
- Understanding of insurance and Reinsurance side of operations Bordeaux statements and settlements
- Preparation of process documentations, ad hoc reports and supporting manager

Essential Functions





- Requires the knowledge and ability to prepare and Premium Claims Journals and their Reconciliations, investigate problems,
- Insurance accounting Solvency II regulatory reporting experience and UK/US GAAP and IFRS 17 knowledge preferred.
- Good knowledge in Insurance and Reinsurance Domain: Claims and Underwriting/Pre & Post Bound Operations ability to understand the policy agreements and its endorsements and amendments done for financial impact
- Ability to understand the significance of various activities in statutory/GAAP accounting close cycle and deliver results accordingly.

- Manager for the purpose of reporting performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and seeking feedback and support
- Manager for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by the Assistant Manager and monthly evaluation of performance
- Peers (team members)



for the purpose of seeking co-operation & clarification on process-related matters & aiding and support when required

Primary External Interactions

- Onshore Team Manager and SMEs for daily planning of work and execution of deliverables
- Must demonstrate effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills

Technical Skills

- Chartered Accountant, CPA, CFA or equivalent with 4-6 years’ experience.
- B. Com with strong practical experience in reporting for more than 8-10 years.
- IFRS 17 knowledge is an add on

Process Specific Skills

- Good understanding of Syndicate and PMA operations for Lloyd's market
- Good knowledge in Insurance and Reinsurance Domain: Claims and Underwriting/Pre & Post Bound Operations




- Should have expert level understanding of UK GAAP accounting principles and procedure Should have expert level understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
- Insurance accounting regulatory reporting experience or US GAAP/IFRS 17 knowledge mandatory.

- 4-5 years of experience in Insurance technical accounting or reporting area preferably with Syndicate or insurance company.
- Should have good understanding of GAAP accounting principles and procedures.
