Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Relationship Manager to lead a team of Relationship Executives (REs). The role involves building and nurturing partnerships with universities and high schools, driving consultative sales, and ensuring the team achieves revenue and engagement targets.



You will be responsible for coaching your team, monitoring performance, and aligning sales strategies with the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Relationship Executives to achieve individual and team targets.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships with universities, colleges, and schools.
- Understand institutional needs and recommend the right academic and test prep solutions.
- Conduct and oversee client meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Drive consultative selling, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor pipeline, track KPIs, and prepare sales performance reports for leadership.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies.
- Ensure timely follow-ups, lead nurturing, and closure of opportunities.
- Stay updated on trends in academic publishing and institutional partnerships.

Requirements

- 4–6 years of experience in B2B Sales/Institutional Sales, preferably in publishing, education, or edtech.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring a small sales team is a must.




- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data, set targets, and drive accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM or similar CRM tools is an advantage.
