Job Title: Project Officer

Location: Multiple Districts in Maharashtra (75% field travel)
Type: Full-time, Contractual (12 months, renewable)

Compensation: INR 3.00 – 3.90 LPA (commensurate with experience)

Open Links Foundation (OLF) is an IT-based non-profit working to make government schools aspirational by empowering teachers, partnering with district administrations, and leveraging technology for better learning outcomes. Through our flagship Vinoba program, we support 55,000+ schools, 190,000+ teachers, and impact 4 million+ students across 33 districts.
Role Overview:
As a Project Officer,
you will drive education program implementation at the district level. This includes working with education officers, administrators, and teachers to ensure smooth adoption of OLF’s initiatives. You’ll act as the bridge between government stakeholders and our team, enabling systemic improvements in school education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead district-level program execution in partnership with officials and teachers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with education officers, administrators, and educators.
- Train, mentor, and provide on-ground support to stakeholders.
- Leverage technology and digital platforms to improve program adoption.
- Collect and analyze field data to enhance program effectiveness.
- Represent OLF in official forums and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
What are we looking for?
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Education, Rural Management, Public Policy, or related fields.
- 2+ years’ experience in education/development sector (government interface preferred).
- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Comfort with MS Office,
Google Workspace, and data analysis.
- Attributes: Responsible, empathetic, resilient, collaborative, and impact-driven.
- Gandhi Fellowship preferred
