What does the position offer
Were looking for Software Engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, cloud native technologies, and highly available services.

You work on a team that owns the design, development, and operations for major components of Oracles Cloud Infrastructure in the Cloud Native space.
You should be a distributed systems generalist, able to architect broad systems interactions, while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and lower level system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
We are looking for Software Developers who:
Can work with or learn the Java / GoLang / Python / Scala language. In addition, we are interested in those candidates who have worked with Java or Go.
Have experience with or are interested in Functional Programming.
Have understanding of Kubernetes and some exposure with Kubernetes in past projects.
Familiarity with managed Kubernetes service like Google Kubernetes Engine, Amazon Kubernetes Service will be an added advantage.
Have experience with deployment automation with tools such as Docker, Ansible, bash, python
Have worked with cloud infrastructure projects and has exposure to public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP etc.
Can independently work on large, complex projects.
Show aptitude for architectural principals related to cloud infrastructure.
Are willing to work with geographically dispersed teams
Can speak to past successes they have had in software development.
Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership and drive.
Experience and knowledge around cloud infrastructure would be great and a definite plus but not essential.

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
