Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join Xshore’s growing team. In this role, you will oversee accounting and financial reporting for U.S.-based real estate investment funds, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will also mentor junior accountants, lead process improvements, and work directly with senior stakeholders, making this a high-impact role with both technical and leadership responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate investment funds.
- Oversee invoice processing, accounts payable, and vendor payment management.
- Perform bank and vendor reconciliations,



ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and present financial statements and reports to internal leaders and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
- Leverage advanced accounting software (Yardi, RealPage, SAP) for financial data management and reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Mentor and train junior accountants, fostering continuous professional growth within the team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality financial operations.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in fund/property accounting, with strong exposure to real estate.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, RealPage, and SAP.
- Strong expertise in accounts payable, invoice processing, and reconciliations.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.




- Proven leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing junior accountants.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with global stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving process improvements.
