QA Engineer (SaaS & Automation)

Location: Remote

Experience: 4-6 yrs

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibilities

1. Comprehensive Testing: Conduct thorough functional, regression, and exploratory testing of SaaS-based web applications, ensuring optimal performance and quality.

2. Backend Database Validation: Perform rigorous testing of backend databases focusing on data integrity, migration processes, and query validation for robust data handling.

3. Search Functionality Testing: Validate search functionalities leveraging Elastic Search to ensure accuracy and relevance of search results.

4. Dashboard and Monitoring: Design, implement,



and maintain Grafana dashboards for effective monitoring of test outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs).

5. Automation Testing: Develop and execute sophisticated automation testing frameworks utilizing Puppeteer and Playwright for enhanced test efficiency.

6. CI/CD Integration: Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to seamlessly integrate test automation within CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for streamlined delivery.

7. Cloud Environment Coverage: Ensure extensive test coverage across prominent cloud environments including AWS and Azure for broad compatibility.

8. Defect Management: Document and track defects with precision, working collaboratively with development teams for prompt resolution and quality assurance.

9. Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine QA processes to enhance speed, accuracy, and scalability in alignment with business objectives.

Required Skill Set

Essential Skills

- SaaS Web Application Testing: Proven experience in testing SaaS-based web applications.

- Backend Database Testing: Hands-on expertise in backend database validation and management.





- Elastic Search Proficiency: Working knowledge of Elastic Search for search functionality validation.

- Grafana Dashboard Creation: Ability to create and maintain Grafana dashboards for effective monitoring.

- Automation Testing Expertise: Strong skills in automation testing using Puppeteer and Playwright.

- Cloud Platform Familiarity: Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.

- CI/CD Tools Knowledge: Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins for integration and deployment.

Desirable Skills

- LLM and AI Testing Experience: Experience in testing Large Language Model (LLM)-based agents and AI-driven systems.

- Advanced Tool Proficiency: Deep understanding and experience with specified tools and technologies.

Tools and Technologies

- Automation: Puppeteer, Playwright

- Observability: Grafana, Elastic Search

- CI/CD: Jenkins

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.

- Experience: Minimum 4 years of hands-on QA testing experience in SaaS/web applications; at least 2 years in automation testing using Puppeteer/Playwright.

- Technical Experience: Proven experience in backend database testing, Elastic Search, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in QA, Automation, or Cloud technologies are advantageous.
