Role Overview
We are seeking a CA-qualified Internal Auditor (preferably from a Big 4 firm) to oversee and enhance the integrity of our finance and accounts operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance, assess risk management frameworks, and improve internal processes to support CarePal Group’s rapid growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end internal audits for finance, accounts, and operational processes across CarePal Group companies.
- Evaluate and enhance internal control systems, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, FCRA, and 80G requirements (as applicable).
- Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements to financial and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and cross-functional teams to address audit findings.
- Review and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and MIS reports for accuracy.
- Monitor compliance with statutory obligations, company policies, and corporate governance standards.
- Provide actionable insights to senior management to mitigate risks and improve financial performance.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of audit findings with clear recommendations.
Requirements
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of post-qualification experience in internal audit, finance, or risk management.
- Big 4 background (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of Indian GAAP, tax laws, compliance frameworks, and audit methodologies.
- Experience with healthcare, fintech, or high-growth startup environments is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work independently.
