Refinery Manager – Cottonseed & Sunflower Oil Production (India)

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage Refinery Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of cottonseed and sunflower oil refining lines.
- Ensure consistent quality and yield through optimized degumming, neutralization, bleaching, and deodorization processes.
- Manage crude oil intake, refining, storage, and dispatch.
- Process Optimization & Technical Excellence:
- Monitor process parameters and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure minimum downtime.
- Stay updated with technological advancements in edible oil refining.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Coordinate with QC teams to ensure compliance with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other industry standards.




- Ensure that finished products meet all regulatory and customer specifications.
- Team Leadership & Training:
- Lead and mentor a team of shift engineers, supervisors, and operators.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team’s technical and safety knowledge.
- Inventory & Maintenance Management:
- Manage raw material and chemical inventories for continuous operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production and efficiency reports.
- Maintain records related to row material, packaging material, production, quality, safety, finished stock and compliance.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong technical knowledge in cottonseed and sunflower oil refining processes.
- Proficient in process control, PLC/SCADA operations, and plant automation.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Good understanding of environmental and safety regulations.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, target-driven environment.

Preferred Experience:





- Experience with physical and chemical refining of cottonseed and sunflower oil.
- Exposure to large-scale batch or continuous refining plants.
- Knowledge of allied units like oil neutralizing, bleaching earth handling, and deodorizer maintenance.

Job Type: Full time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month

Education:

- Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

- physical and chemical refining : 1 year (Preferred)
- cottonseed and sunflower oil: 1 year (Preferred)
- Refinery Manager : 1 year (Preferred)
