Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Java + AWS Developer to design, build, and deploy microservices and event-driven applications on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong programming expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs, with hands-on experience in event streaming, stream processing,



and AWS cloud services. This role will focus on implementing real-time data-driven solutions using Kafka, Apache Flink, and AWS PaaS components, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and observability. Key Responsibilities Develop and deploy Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and Spring REST. Build and optimize real-time event streaming pipelines using Confluent Kafka, KSQL, Schema Registry, and Apache Flink. Implement microservices and data-driven architectures on AWS Kubernetes Service (AKS) with AWS Container Registry and Confluent Cloud. Integrate with AWS Blob Storage and AWS Key Vault for secure storage and secret management. Design and manage persistence with NoSQL databases (Cassandra). Implement monitoring, logging, and observability with Splunk and Dynatrace. Work closely with architects and senior engineers to translate design patterns into working implementations. Participate in CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment on AWS. Ensure solutions follow cloud-native best practices for scalability, resiliency, and security. Roles & Responsibilities:



Event Streaming & Processing Hands-on with Confluent Kafka, KSQL, and Schema Registry. Experience with Apache Flink for data stream processing. Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS) Experience with AWS Kubernetes Service (AKS) for containerized workloads. Knowledge of AWS Container Registry, AWS Blob Storage, Confluent Cloud, and AWS Key Vault. Programming & Frameworks Strong proficiency in Core Java. Hands-on with Spring Boot and Spring REST for building APIs and microservices. Architecture Understanding Exposure to microservices-based architecture. Experience in event-driven and data-driven design patterns. Persistence Layer Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra). Monitoring & Observability Familiarity with Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring and troubleshooting. Additional Information:



The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Java + AWS Developer. Experience with CI/CD pipelines on AWS DevOps or GitHub Actions. Exposure to containerization (Docker) and cloud security practices. Familiarity with API design best practices and event schema management. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Ability to work in an agile, collaborative team environment. Positive communication skills for cross-team collaboration. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Microsoft AWS certifications (Developer Associate, Kubernetes Specialist) are a plus.
