Quality Assurance Analyst (Navi Mumbai)

Role: QA Analyst
Overview
As a QA Analyst within ERS you will work closely with the development team and Business Analysts to assure the quality of our software. The successful candidate will possess excellent knowledge of software quality principles, methods, and tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a QA capacity and will be highly motivated to work in a fast-moving environment.
You will be responsible for:
• Developing and implementing test specs, test plans and test cases
• Testing web, mobile and desktop applications
• Automating tests using tools such as Cypress
• Involved in all aspects of testing from test design to test execution
• Disciplined reporting, tracking,



and resolution of all defects.
• Re-testing defect fixes and regression testing
Education:
• ISTQB (or equivalent) Foundation Level certification is desirable but not essential
Experience:
• A minimum of 3 – 4 years in automation software testing experience
• Degree in a computer science is essential
• Experience in test case development and execution is essential
• Clear understanding of software development lifecycle
• Positive SQL experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Competencies:
• Knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI
• Test Automation experience in Cypress
• Good problem solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to interpret user requirements, detailed technical and functional specs and ability to apply this information to plan, develop and execute test cases and scripts
• Proactive,



willingness to take the initiative and assume responsibility where necessary
