Position: SAP Basis Architect

Job / Work Location: Whitefield, Bangalore, India (Client office)

Job Type: Contract

Salary Range: Max 20L PA

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Architect to design, implement, and manage robust SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP Basis administration, system architecture, and performance optimization, with proven experience in large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect, design, and oversee SAP system landscapes across development, quality, and production.
- Lead SAP Basis administration, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and migrations.
- Ensure system performance, availability,



and scalability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
- Manage transport management, client administration, user/security management, and system copies.
- Integrate SAP systems with databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and operating systems.
- Implement and monitor high availability, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practices guidance to the Basis team.
- Ensure compliance with SAP standards, ITIL practices, and audit/security requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Basis administration and architecture.
- Expertise in SAP HANA and non-HANA databases (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server).
- Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, S/4HANA, Solution Manager, and SAP Cloud Platform.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems and system-level troubleshooting.
- Experience in system sizing, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Good understanding of network, storage,



and virtualization technologies.
- Hands-on experience in upgrades, patches, migrations, and OS/DB migrations.
- Familiarity with Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) SAP deployments is a plus.

Positive to Have

- SAP certifications in Basis, HANA, or Cloud.
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Shell/PowerShell scripting).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori, BW/BOBJ, and Solution Manager.
