Hiring for: An emerging General Insurance business led by industry stalwarts and global investors

Role: Product Manager – Accounting, Banking & Reconciliation

Experience: 5–8 years in Product Management (minimum 3–5 years in BFSI core/back-office products)

Location: Mumbai (5 Days Work from Office)

Reporting To: Head of Product

Salary: Based on fitment

Joining: Immediate to 30 days preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Build and own Accounting, Banking, and Reconciliation modules end-to-end
- Design & automate receipting, refunds, chargebacks, settlements, and reconciliation workflows
- Partner with Finance, Ops, Engineering, and Compliance teams for scalable, audit-ready systems
- Drive integrations with banks, payment gateways,



and APIs
- Deliver audit-compliant, zero-manual workflows to strengthen financial controls
- Simplify complex financial processes for efficiency, accuracy, and scalability

Requirements / Must-Haves
- Proven Product Management experience in BFSI/Fintech/Insurance core or back-office systems
- Solid grasp of accounting concepts – GL, COA, sub-ledger, reconciliation
- Understanding of payments, settlements, refunds, chargebacks, GST/TDS compliance
- Exposure to APIs, system integrations, and data modeling
- Hands-on, execution-focused product mindset with Agile/Scrum experience
- Excellent skills in stakeholder management, documentation (BRD/PRD), backlog prioritization, UAT & release management
