Job Title: Customer Service & Documentation Executive – Ocean Import

Location: Andheri, Mumbai
Department: Freight Forwarding – Ocean Import

Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented qualified for our Ocean Import Customer Service & Documentation team. The candidate will handle end-to-end customer coordination, import documentation, and operational support. Strong communication skills and knowledge of freight forwarding processes are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle customer service for ocean import clients – queries, updates, and shipment coordination.
- Manage end-to-end import documentation including Bill of Entry, IGM, Arrival Notice, Delivery Order, DO release, etc.




- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, customs brokers (CHA), transporters, and customers.
- Ensure timely preparation, verification, and submission of all required shipping and customs documents.
- Track shipments and keep customers informed about cargo status.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, costs, and invoices.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate when required.
- Assist in rate coordination and support the sales/commercial team when needed.
- Ensure compliance with customs, regulatory, and company standards.

Requirements

- Graduate in Commerce / Logistics / International Trade preferred.
- Experience: 2–4 years in Ocean Import Customer Service & Documentation (Freight Forwarding mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of import procedures, documentation, and coordination.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with ERP/logistics systems preferred.
- Ability to handle pressure and multitask effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
