Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Backend Engineer with 6+ years of experience in backend application development, including strong expertise in Kotlin, Java, and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate will have experience designing scalable APIs and services, building cloud-native backend systems, and integrating them into modern CI/CD pipelines (GitLab). This role involves collaborating across teams to deliver resilient, high-quality systems while driving engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Kotlin, Java,



and Spring Boot.

- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver end-to-end product features.

- Build and integrate RESTful APIs with internal and external systems.

- Implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning.

- Ensure performance, security, and scalability across all backend systems.

- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring high system availability.

Must-Have Skills

- 6+ years of experience in backend development.

- 1+ year of relevant hands-on experience with Kotlin, strong proficiency in Java.

- Expertise in Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline implementation using GitLab CI.

- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

- Proficiency in Git and team-oriented development workflows.
