The Assistant Sales Manager for Two Wheelers plays a pivotal role in supporting the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets, managing the sales team, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences within the two-wheeler segment. This position is responsible for driving sales performance, engaging the sales force, overseeing showroom operations, and fostering strong customer relationships for motorcycles, scooters, and related products. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, target-driven individual with proven sales leadership experience in the two-wheeler industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Performance & Target Achievement:
- Assist the Sales Manager in setting and achieving monthly, quarterly,
and annual sales targets for new and pre-owned two-wheelers.
- Monitor individual and team sales performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize market penetration and customer acquisition.
- Generate sales reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise, coach, and mentor the two-wheeler sales executives.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and onboarding of new sales staff, focusing on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Motivate the sales team through incentives, recognition, and continuous professional development.
- Conduct regular sales meetings to review performance, share best practices, and communicate company objectives.
- Assist with sales staff scheduling to ensure optimal showroom coverage and customer engagement.
- Customer Experience & Relationship Management:
- Ensure a superior customer experience from initial inquiry to vehicle delivery and after-sales follow-up.
- Act as a point of escalation for customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Oversee test ride coordination and ensure a safe and informative experience for customers.
- Showroom Operations & Inventory Management:
- Ensure the showroom is well-maintained, visually appealing, and showcases two-wheeler models effectively.
- Assist in managing two-wheeler inventory, including stock levels, display readiness, and coordination with logistics.
- Ensure all sales documentation, financing applications, and delivery processes are handled accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations.
- Product Knowledge & Market Awareness:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all two-wheeler models, features, specifications,
pricing, and competitive advantages.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and new product launches in the two-wheeler segment.
- Effectively communicate product benefits and technical information to both customers and the sales team.
- Promotional Activities:
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement activities to drive showroom footfall and sales.
- Participate in roadshows, exhibitions, and other outreach programs as required.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- A diploma or certification in sales management or automotive sales is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive sales experience in the two-wheeler industry is essential.
- At least 1-2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within two-wheeler sales.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
