Job Title: Website Developer (Shopify / E-commerce) – Contract Basis

Location: Work from Home (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Website Developer with expertise in Shopify and e-commerce theme design to join us on a contract basis. The ideal candidate should have proven hands-on experience in building, customizing, and optimizing Shopify websites, and must be capable of delivering user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and conversion-optimized e-commerce solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop e-commerce websites using Shopify.
- Customize Shopify themes to match brand identity and functional requirements.




- Implement responsive, SEO-friendly, and quick-loading website pages.
- Integrate payment gateways, third-party apps, and APIs as needed.
- Ensure website compatibility across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate remotely with the marketing and operations team to deliver project requirements on time.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and improvements post-deployment.

Requirements

- 5+ years of proven experience in Shopify website development and e-commerce theme customization.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Liquid, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with Shopify apps, plugins, and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
- Previous portfolio or samples of completed Shopify projects.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- UX/UI design knowledge for improving customer experience.
- Familiarity with other e-commerce platforms such as WooCommerce, Magento, or BigCommerce (added advantage).
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics.

Contract Details





- Location: Remote / Work from Home
- Engagement Type: Contract (duration and scope to be discussed)
- Compensation: Based on experience and project scope

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
