Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Network Engineer

Responsibilities

. Enable bringing the Other businesses Client location within the security umbrella based on prioritization from the Client team

. Network tooling

o Ongoing maintenance

o Network tooling rationalization and driving POCs and promoting successful POCs to production.

. Proactive research and enablement for NOC:

o Continuous improvement and transformation

o NIST CSF 2.0/NIST 800.53 aligned roadmap execution for activities recommended for NOC to drive continuous maturity to drive NIST CSF 2.0 aligned maturity levels.

. Support for Client Internal and external compliance audits (e.g. compliance related audits)

.



Research and drive continuous improvement for NOC including

o Leveraging GenAI enabled Networking Operations

. 24x7 Network Monitoring:

o Continuous real time monitoring of network performance and availability.

o Immediate detection and alerting of network anomalies and issues.

. Performance Optimization:

o Regular analysis and tuning of network performance to ensure optimal operation.

o Identification and resolution of bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

. Incident Management:

o Proactive management of network incidents with rapid response and resolution.

o Root cause analysis and corrective action to prevent recurrence. o Follow and upgrade, if required, the current SK Lifesciences Incident Management processes

. Server and Device Monitoring:

o Continuous monitoring of server health, performance, and capacity.

o Realtime alerts for hardware failures, resource exhaustion, and other critical issues.

. Patch and Update Management:

o Regular updates and patching of network devices and servers to ensure security and stability.

o Coordination with SOC for security related updates.

. Configuration Management:





o Maintenance and documentation of network and device configurations.

o Change management processes to track and manage configuration changes.

Internet and WAN Link Monitoring:

o Monitoring of internet and WAN links for availability and performance.

o Alerting and troubleshooting of connectivity issues.

. Bandwidth Utilization Analysis: o

Monitoring and analysis of bandwidth usage to identify trends and potential issues.

o Optimization of bandwidth allocation to ensure critical applications have necessary resources.

. Traffic Shaping and QoS Management:

o Implementation of traffic shaping and Quality of Service (QoS) policies to prioritize critical traffic.

o Monitoring and adjustment of QoS policies to ensure optimal performance.

. Network Security Monitoring

. Compliance Reporting: Internal & External

.



Vulnerability Management

. Network Incident Response

. Disaster Recovery Planning

. Backup and Restore Management

. SLAs and Performance Metrics

. Customer Reporting and Communication:

. Proactive Customer Support including working closely with Networking hardware providers (e.g. Cisco)

- Cisco related Access switches, Core switches, Firewalls, Edge Devices, Wireless

- Hardware, Internet Edge, Cisco Firepower (IPS, IDS, NGFW), LogicMonitor

- Have experience on F5 LB, Juniper, Cisco, PaloAlto, Solarwinds for Monitoring, Riverbed, HPE Aruba Airwave

- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, wireless devices

- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security

- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting





- Provide critical thinking to complex problems in a 24/7, mission critical network environment.

- Process, monitor and prioritize trouble tickets.

- Automate the tasks, which should be automated.

- Provide support and administration of customer firewalls and security appliances

- IP Address and Subnetting

- Routing concepts- Static routing, Dynamic Routing(Eigrp, Ospf, Bgp)

- Positive hands on in switching technologies like- vlan, intervlan routing, stp,

- Experience on EOL Project(migrating from old switch to new switch),

- Core upgrade, password recovery.

- Basic Knowledge in Nexus- 7K, 5K, 2K

- Change management: Knowledge of ITIL procedure

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

- Certifications : CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, JNCIP, JNCIE & CISSP.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills





- Clear knowledge of hardware and network infrastructure.

- Ability to think and imagine solutions to problems.

- Power to install, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure tools including wireless access points, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers.

- Knowledge of transport systems and the standards for network infrastructure.

- Can build detailed network diagrams and documents for network communication systems design and planning.

- Provides extensive precise details for choosing the hardware and applications.

- Network security experience
