Established in 1996 in Mehsana, Gujarat, Zircar Refractories Limited is an ISO 9001:2015 certified manufacturer of high-end super refractories. It is the only indigenous company in India serving both ferrous and non-ferrous markets from a single, integrated manufacturing facility. Zircar operates four manufacturing units, six branches, and a network of 30+ distributors across India, providing products like Silicon Carbide and Clay Graphite Crucibles, Stopper Heads, and Refractories for continuous casting applications. The company is a major supplier for both domestic and global markets, exporting to over 30 countries.
Role Description
Educational Qualification
- B.Tech / B.Sc in Information Technology,
Computer Science, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in SAP, Database Management, or IT Infrastructure (preferred).
Key ResponsibilitiesSAP & ERP Management
- Oversee SAP license management, including activation, renewal, and annual payments.
- Maintain AMC contracts and ensure timely renewals.
- Manage user restrictions, roles, and access controls.
- Configure license types, numbering series for transactions, and branch creation.
- Manage production order closures, and transaction notifications (validation SQL & post-transaction).
- Generate customized and scheduled SAP reports.
- Perform SAP database (DB) management including log file shrinking, backup scheduling, and server maintenance.
IT Systems & Infrastructure
- Manage email configurations (Post Master, hosting server, domain & website management) (preferred).
- Handle mail configurations for top management.
- Ensure data security, backup policies, and recovery procedures.
- Oversee server health, uptime monitoring, and performance optimisation (preferred).
- Provide backend development and log management for IT operations.
User & Data Management
- Define and enforce user allowances & restrictions across all systems.
- Monitor data ownership policies and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Coordinate with departments to provide IT solutions for business processes.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of SAP (Business One/ERP) and MS-SQL databases.
- Expertise in backend systems, server management, and IT infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of data ownership, cybersecurity, and backup management.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of IT management experience,
preferably with SAP setting exposure.
- Hands-on experience in SAP administration, licensing, and database management.
