Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Description
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic-level position focused on driving growth and expansion in the India marketplace. The role involves selling capabilities in Manufacturing, Mechanical & Electrical Practice, and Systems & Software Practice. The BDM will develop strategies and execute them to promote services within their portfolio, working closely with the delivery operations team to ensure consistency in the sales cycle.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for strategy, planning, and execution of business development activities to expand services opportunities in the India marketplace.
- Accountable for meeting or exceeding annual revenue targets and gross profit targets.
- Engage with leaders and solution experts to deliver cutting-edge solutions to clients.
- Focus on expanding capabilities within the assigned accounts.
- Maintain and grow client relationships, combining new business development and existing business expansion.
- Proactively introduce solutions and ideas to clients to enhance their business performance.
- Assist in the assessment, design, and development of technical requirements and solutions.
- Support the development of project proposals, utilizing data gathering techniques and analysis to present proposed solutions to clients.
- Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified relationships with customers, building relationships with Executive Sponsors and key decision makers.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen in sales, RFx's, presentations, contracts, negotiations, internal and external QBRs, communications, technology, reporting, and leading by influence.
- Enlist corporate functions to ensure appropriate functioning in large account setup, including contractual requirements, processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
- Exhibit leadership skills including relationship building, organizational agility, command skills, and institutional stretch assignments.
