HVAC Project Engineer - Job Title HVAC Project Engineer Department Engineering Construction MEP Reports To Project Manager or Senior Mechanical Engineer Location Insert Location Job Type Full-time Job Summary The HVAC Project Engineer is responsible for the planning design coordination and management of heating ventilation and air conditioning systems for residential commercial or industrial projects The role involves collaborating with clients consultants contractors and internal teams to ensure projects are executed on time within scope and on budget while meeting all applicable standards and specifications Key Responsibilities Design HVAC systems ductwork piping controls based on project requirements and applicable codes Prepare detailed engineering drawings equipment schedules and technical specifications Conduct load calculations using HVAC software e g HAP Carrier Trane Trace Review and approve mechanical submittals shop drawings and material specifications Coordinate with architects electrical and civil engineers and other stakeholders Manage and monitor HVAC project activities including cost schedule and quality Conduct site visits to inspect installation progress and compliance with design Resolve technical issues that arise during design or installation phases Ensure adherence to safety regulations building codes and green building standards e g LEED Support project commissioning and testing adjusting HVAC systems for performance optimization Prepare and maintain project documentation reports and records Participate in project meetings and provide updates on HVAC project status Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Qualified Engineering License PE or working towards it is preferred 2-5 years of experience in HVAC system design and project execution Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP or other design software Familiarity with HVAC load calculation tools HAP Trace etc Strong knowledge of ASHRAE standards building codes and HVAC systems Excellent problem-solving communication and project management skills Preferred Skills Experience with Building Information Modeling BIM Knowledge of sustainable building practices and energy modeling Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Job Type Full-time Pay 237 287 08 - 778 763 32 per year Benefits Cell phone reimbursement Provident Fund Language English Preferred Work Location In person
