Location: Chennai

Experience: 10–15 years

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our team, specializing in Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in design and engineering within the construction domain, delivering high-quality solutions for power infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:





- Structural analysis and design of AIS/GIS substations, control room buildings, and associated civil elements.
- Design of transformer, tower, and girder foundations.
- Development of drawings for outdoor equipment foundations, guard houses, staff quarters, grading, roads, and drainage systems.
- Design of outdoor steel structures and other miscellaneous works related to substations and cabling.
- Coordination with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of design packages.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Substation Switchyard & Power Transmission industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural and civil engineering design codes and standards.
- Proficiency in design software and drafting tools, Such as STAAD Pro, STAAD, Etabs, and AutoCAD.
- Experience in end-to-end design — from concept to detailed engineering.
