Job Title: Medical Licensing Expert
Role Overview:
We are seeking a well-organized professional to support our licensing initiative. The ideal candidate will be responsible for obtaining and completing the initial provider application for US state medical licenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and compile the appropriate application from the US State Medical Board based on the provider's requirements.
- Collaborate with providers to ensure all necessary documentation is obtained.
- Maintain high-level communication with providers throughout the licensure application process.
- Utilize task management software to maintain up-to-date tasks and projects.
- Develop expertise in the end-to-end US licensing process for APRN, CRNP,
DO, MD, Physician Assistant, IMLC, and Behavioral Health license applications.
- Prepare and submit applications fully and accurately; transmit to providers for review and approval.
- Handle online and paper-based application submissions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
- Request and complete verifications required by the state medical board.
- Follow up with the state license board until the application has reached approval by the medical board.
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism, completing requests in a timely manner, including responding to all contacts within 24 hours.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in licensing and regulatory affairs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in using portals and managing associated documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
Essential Tools:
- A dedicated laptop or PC with Windows 10/11 and MS Office 2013 +.
- A quiet home office with minimal distractions.
- A quick internet connection (100MB+).
