Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President Enterprise Architecture Consulting-AWS Delivery lead
The Delivery Lead will be responsible for the successful execution of large-scale data transformation projects leveraging the AWS platform. This leadership role involves overseeing both legacy-to-AWS migrations and new implementations, ensuring high-quality delivery, innovation, and business value.
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in program management, along with expertise in AWS cloud, data engineering and analytics solutions. They will be responsible for client engagement, team leadership, delivery governance, and strategic innovations in AWS-based solutions.





Responsibilities:
.Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex AWS data platform programs, including both legacy system migrations and greenfield implementations, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures.

.Define, implement, and enforce delivery governance frameworks, architectural best practices, and methodologies tailored to AWS data ecosystem projects.

.Serve as the primary client engagement lead, acting as a trusted advisor to align AWS solutions with clients data strategy and business goals.

.Provide thought leadership on cloud-native data platform architectures, including serverless and containerized deployments,

.Architect and Implement data platforms leveraging AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR, Spark, Redshift, Athena, and related services.

.Architect and oversee data ingestion, processing,



transformation, storage, and analytics pipelines on AWS, ensuring robust, cost-effective, and compliant solutions.

.Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of AWS architects, data engineers, and analysts, fostering continuous skill development and AWS certification attainment.

.Champion DevOps best practices and Agile delivery models, implementing CI/CD automation to accelerate delivery velocity and improve operational excellence.

.Monitor emerging AWS services and cloud data trends, driving innovation through AI/ML integration, automation, and real-time data processing enhancements.

.Develop reusable accelerators, frameworks, and architectural templates to streamline AWS data platform delivery and improve solution consistency.

.Ensure data security, governance, compliance,



and regulatory requirements are met within all AWS data platform initiatives.

.Implement performance monitoring, cost optimization, disaster recovery, and scalability strategies for AWS-based data solutions

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
. IT services with experience specifically in AWS and cloud-based data engineering.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Proven success managing large-scale AWS data platform programs, including data migration and contemporary data architecture implementations.

.Deep architectural expertise in AWS data-related services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, EMR, Apache Spark, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, and related analytics and storage services.





.Hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows on AWS.

.Strong proficiency in cloud-native data processing frameworks and languages like SQL, Python, and Spark.

.Experience with multiple cloud platforms (AWS preferred, Azure and GCP a plus).

.Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and governance policies.

.Ability to bridge technical delivery with business strategy through client engagement and stakeholder management.

.Experience leading cross-functional teams in Agile and DevOps environments, driving continuous improvement and automation.

Preferred Certifications:
.AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (or Associate with extensive experience)

.AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty

.Additional cloud certifications such as Azure Data Engineer or Google Cloud Architect are advantageous.





.Project Management and Delivery certifications like PMP, ITIL, or SAFe Agile
