About the Position:

The General Manager Sales will lead the overall sales operations and field-force management of Healing Pharma across India. The role requires strategic planning, people leadership, and operational oversight to drive productivity, compliance, and sales growth. This position will oversee Field Employees, Regional / State Managers, Sales Support Team at back end, and MIS/data functions team ensuring alignment of all sales activities with the company’s business goals.

Responsibilities:

- Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Assist management in designing sales strategies, incentive policies, and monitoring frameworks.




- Expand market presence by identifying new territories, and growth opportunities.
- Align field-force objectives with organizational goals and business priorities.
- Field-Force Management
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of Field Sales Employees and Sales Managers at all levels.
- Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and incentive structures for field employees.
- Monitor field productivity through daily reporting tools, CRM applications, and market intelligence.
- Drive adherence tocompany policies, compliance, and ethical practices.
- Business Development & Market Expansion
- Build and maintain robust relationships with stockists, CFA’s, and key opinion leaders (KOLs)-Directors.
- Analyze competitor activities and implement counter-strategies to maintain market leadership.
- Sales Operations & Performance Monitoring
- Conduct regular business reviews with ZSMs/RSMs/ASMs to track performance, challenges, and corrective measures.
- Develop monitoring mechanisms to ensure productivity, call averages, and territory coverage.




- Optimize distribution channels and ensure effective secondary sales management.
- Training & Development
- Mentor and coach sales teams to enhance product knowledge, communication, and selling skills.
- Drive a culture of continuous learning and capability building across the field force.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Lead the MIS team responsible for expense claims, incentive validation, and target vs. achievement reporting.
- Recommend process automation and digital solutions to improve efficiency.
- Provide regular reports on sales trends, forecasts, and MIS dashboards to senior management.
- Analyze sales data, territory performance, and ROI of field activities to improve decision-making.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong leadership and team-handling skills across both field and back-office functions.
- Excellent knowledge of pharmaceutical sales practices,



distribution models, and field-force operations.
- Proficiency in CRM / Salesforce automation tools, MS Excel, and dashboard reporting.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- High level of integrity and adherence to compliance.
