Position: National Sales Manager -General Trade (FMCG Food Industry)
Location: BKC, Mumbai
Experience: 15 - 25 Years
Notice Period: 30 Days or Less Preferred
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are a well-established, Indian-origin FMCG company with over 50 years of legacy in the packaged and convenience food sector. With a solid domestic footprint and a growing international presence across 40+ countries, we are recognized for our high-quality ready-to-eat and ready-to-cook food products.
As part of our ambitious growth plans,
we are looking to onboard a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager (NSM) to lead and drive our General Trade sales across India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute national-level General Trade (GT) sales strategy
- Manage and mentor Zonal & Regional Sales Managers
- Strengthen and expand the distributor and retail network across key geographies
- Drive secondary sales growth, improve numeric and weighted distribution
- Ensure adoption and utilization of DMS (Distributor Management System) and SFA (Sales Force Automation)
- Coordinate with Trade Marketing on promotional schemes, visibility plans, and market execution
- Monitor sales KPIs, market trends, and competitor activity, and report actionable insights to management
Candidate Profile:
- 1525 years of experience in FMCG Food sales (General Trade)
- Currently working in or previously held positions such as NSM / Sales Head / VP Sales
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing large sales teams across zones
- Deep understanding of General Trade distribution models, channel management, and secondary sales planning
- Proficient with modern sales tools: DMS, SFA, analytics dashboards
