TaxBuddy helps millions of Indians file taxes quickly and accurately, combining expert assistance with AI. We’re growing fast on Instagram, YouTube, and WhatsApp. We’re looking for a social-first designer who can turn complex money topics into thumb-stopping visuals.

What You’ll Do

- Design daily social content: Instagram carousels, reels covers, short video graphics, YouTube thumbnails, story templates, creatives, and WhatsApp broadcast art.
- Own the visual system: Maintain and evolve our social brand guidelines, typography, color, iconography, and illustration style.
- Concept → Creative: Translate content briefs into transparent visual narratives, data visuals, and memes that are easy to grasp and fun to share.




- Motion & video support: Create lightweight motion graphics (titles, lower-thirds, transitions) and edit simple reels when needed.
- Data-informed design: Iterate based on performance metrics (shares, saves, CTR, watch time) with rapid A/B tests (e.g., two thumbnail variants).
- Speed + quality: Turn around quick news-reactive posts without sacrificing clarity or brand tone.
- Collaborate: Work closely with content, copy, and performance teams to align on campaign objectives and timelines.
- Asset management: Maintain a clean, searchable library of design files and templates.

What You’ve Done (Must-Haves)
- 2–5 years of hands-on social design experience for consumer brands or media (finance/fintech is a plus).
- A strong portfolio of Instagram-first work (carousels, thumbnails, short-form graphics, data illustrations).
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator); basic After Effects/Premiere for motion.
- Comfort with data visualization (turning numbers into clean, digestible graphics).
- Solid typography & layout fundamentals,



with sharp attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to work in fast sprints , manage multiple briefs, and deliver on deadlines.
- Fluency in English; working knowledge of Hinglish tone for culturally relevant posts.

Nice to Have
- Experience designing for WhatsApp campaigns and YouTube (thumbnails that drive CTR).
- Knowledge of AI/automation tools (e.g., Firefly, Midjourney, Runway) to speed up workflows.
- Basic illustration skills (simple, on-brand characters/icons).
- Understanding of Indian tax/personal finance content and what hooks drive shares.

How We Measure Success (KPIs)
- Growth in shares, saves, and completion rate on carousels/reels.
- CTR uplift on thumbnails and ad creatives.
- Production velocity : quality output per week without rework.
- Consistent brand adherence and reduced time-to-publish.
