Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will oversee the preparation and analysis of financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide accurate and timely financial reporting. This role will also involve mentoring junior accountants and contributing to the organizations financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger activities, ensuring accurate and timely postings, reconciliations, and closings.
Audit Coordination:



Lead internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and compliance with audit requirements.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support business decision-making.
Tax Compliance: Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee AP/AR functions and review processes for accuracy and efficiency.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior accounting staff, providing guidance and fostering skilled growth.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
Experience: 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, with at least 2 years in a senior accounting role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Regulatory Knowledge: Robust understanding of GAAP, IFRS,



and tax compliance.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills; robust communication and interpersonal abilities.Role & responsibilities
