Role & responsibilities
- Design and implement CMDB models aligned with ServiceNows Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Lead CI discovery and classification across virtual, physical, and cloud environments.
- Integrate CMDB with tools like vCenter, SCCM, and network monitoring platforms.
- Establish and maintain CI relationships to support incident, problem, and change management.
- Monitor and improve CMDB health using ServiceNow dashboards and reconciliation rules.
- Collaborate with global teams to ensure data consistency and governance.
- Support audits, compliance, and asset lifecycle management through accurate CI data.
- Provide training and documentation for CMDB processes and best practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- 5+ years of experience in ITSM/CMDB roles, preferably in ServiceNow environments.
- Solid understanding of ITIL practices, especially around CMDB, Incident, and Change Management.
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB Health tools.
- Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Azure) and infrastructure monitoring.
- Ability to interpret and model complex CI relationships and service dependencies and applications.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist CMDB or ITSM
- ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
- Experience in global enterprise environments with hybrid infrastructure
