E2open is hiring talented Windows Server Administrators to join a growing global operations team. As a Data Center Operations team member, you will be joining a collaborative team delivering mission critical SaaS infrastructure used by major brands around the globe.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Implementation, management, and support of VMWare and AWS hosted Windows Servers.
Implementation, management and support of VMware ESXi, vSphere and vCenter Server.
Establish best practices for standardized and automated deployment of Windows based instances in context with security, backup, redundancy, and performance.
Implement and administer Ericom Connect.
Measure and maintain reliability and availability through instrumentation, monitoring, performance tuning, security vulnerability management, and capacity planning.
Ensure the stability, integrity, efficient operation and security of Windows servers.
Planning and impact analysis for application of updates, patches and configuration changes.
Document system implementations, upgrades, and patching strategy.
Support and maintain Active Directory and Group policies.
Perform problem analysis and resolution tasks as part of an on-call support rotation.
Participate in disaster recovery strategy, design, implementation and exercises. Prior Experience:
4-6 years primary experience as a Windows Server Administrator.
4-6 years primary experience as a VMWare vSphere Administrator. Skills & Qualities:
Proficient with Windows Server administration, Active Directory, DNS, and WSFC.
Proficient with VMware vSphere 6.5.
Proficient with scripting languages; PowerShell, batch, command line and 3 rd party utilities.
Familiar with networking; VLANs, SMTP, NFS, CIFS, and backup software and strategies.
Familiar with secure remote access solutions; experience with Ericom Connect a plus.
Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Exchange.
Familiar with monitoring tools and ticketing systems (Manage Engine a plus).
Familiar with AWS services; EC2, RDS, VPC, AMI, SG, etc.
Experience with change and patch management, endpoint protection; experience with security software and tools a plus.
Proficient with Disaster Recovery methods and procedures.
Demonstrable motivation and initiative in working with a global operations team.
Problem solving skill with excellent written and oral communication skill.
Education & Professional Qualifications:
S. Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent computer-related education.
X certification will be an added advantage.
MCSE certification will be an added advantage. Special Work Hours Requirement:
Participate in incident handling and off-hours/ weekend maintenance activities, as necessary.
This position requires participation in an on-call rotation.
