The European Account Manager is expected to manage the success and grow our important customers. Assigned with approximately 10 named customers of varying size and maturity , the European Account Manager is responsible for retaining the customers and achieving sales quota and assigned account objectives.
The European Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers , while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers needs and expectations are met by the company. This includes scheduling and executing quarterly business reviews (QBR) and the associated Account Plan.
Establish productive ,
professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
Coordinate the involvement of company personnel , including support , service , and management resources , in order to meet account performance objectives and customers expectations.
Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts
Proactively lead a joint company - strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives , financial targets , and critical milestones for a one and three - year period tied to term of contract.
Proactively assess , clarify , and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Lead account solution efforts that best address customer needs , while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel (SE , Services , Product)
Lead renewal activities if customer is approaching term end and coordination of appropriate resources (legal , order desk) to facilitate successful execution.

Achievement of assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
Meeting assigned expectations for profitability.
Achievement of strategic customer objectives defined by company management.
Completion of strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
Maintaining high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company
A minimum of 5 years experience in technology sales
Experience in managing customer accounts
Experience in selling data - related technology solutions , with an understanding of analysis and interpreting information into business results.
Experience in selling Supply Chain Management solutions
Experience selling complex business solutions to a technology oriented audience of multiple decision makers within the manufacturing and technology sectors
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship management skills at all levels of an organization including executive level
Very high level of initiative , self - confidence , energy and personal integrity
