Description SKILL REQUIREMENTS
8 - 11 years of overall IT / technical services experience with bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology.
Excellent understanding of IT systems infrastructure and best practices.
Extensive Hands on experience on Linux operating system (Centos/ Redhat) .
Strong troubleshooting knowledge in Linux, performance tuning
Security administration in a Linux environment
Scripting knowledge (bash, perl, python)
Working in structured change management processes for highly available enterprise systems
Good understanding about SAN/ NAS technologies and NFS4 access control
Knowledge on Public/ Private Key encryption and authentication methods.
Strong oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of Openldap
Knowledge of Vmware (Vcp preferred)
Experience with Zabbix/ Nagios RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with various teams for the daily operations, plan and execute scheduled activities.
Linux and VMWare patching.
Web server administration Apache
Administration of Nagios monitoring system
Ensure that all Infrastructure issues relative to project delays or concerns are resolved on a timely basis or escalated to upper management.
Perform installations/ patching of operating system, software installation, and system backups - data recovery
IT infrastructure incident and change management
Support compliance requirements and related efforts
Act as SME between DCOps and R&D;/ Business units
Ability to automate systems using standard scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python
Creates detailed technical documentation of IT solutions to ensure successful implementations and reference for ongoing support.
Understand of Network Concepts Firewalls, Routers, Switches
Cloud Computing &VMware;
Storage Management -NetApp & Dell
Knowledge of Load Balancers, Citrix and Hadoop QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 8 11 years of experience on IT Support
