and take accountability for engineering projects at the core of the company The team is seeking an experienced Architect and Team Lead to help guide this team in their journey towards becoming a world-class engineering team Responsibilities :

- Splunk and Elasticsearch Administration including writing queries, building dashboards, creating alerts, Onboarding Machine data and Cloud Management

- Architect Platform with multi-terabyte ingestion

- Automate processes in AWS, Azure and other platforms

- Troubleshoot platform related issues and assist team members with Technical issues

-  Design, develop and deliver scalable and automated services architecture

- Develop APIs to simplify service consumption by end-users and engineers

- Write software delivery pipelines for various enterprise customers and services

- Enable resilience and high availability for numerous platforms, from bleeding-edge cloud applications to residual legacy environments

- Determine HA/DR, Security, Capacity, and Compliance strategies for existing and new applications

- Develop Usage Standards, User Self-Service designs, and reporting on application KPIs

- Write programs to generate metrics to facilitate a deep understanding of the service

- Help to ensure the engineering team successfully delivers on critical projects and initiatives

- Optimize and support our existing public cloud or data center-based solutions and workloads

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative field

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Splunk and Elasticsearch Platform experience at Administrator/Architect level

- Troubleshooting and administration of Windows and *nix systems

- Experience with version control systems, like Git

-  Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and IAM)

- Hands-on experience with Orchestration tools (Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Chef/Puppet, etc.)

- Deep understanding of security best practices and standards around cloud computing and access management

- Proficiency with at least one of these scripting languages: Python, JavaScript, Unix Shell

- Experience with various database technologies (NoSQL, SQL) and data interchange formats (XML, JSON)

- Analyze data to provide predictions and other insights

-  Deals well with ambiguous or undefined problems; ability to think abstractly and guide others

- Comfortable performing requirements analysis, interfacing with stakeholders of various levels and documenting solutions

- Ability to articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences both in writing, in diagrams and person

- Demonstrable IT knowledge commensurate with DevOps in an Enterprise, both on-premise, off-premise and public cloud (AWS)

- Strong leadership acumen

- Willing to flex your behavioral style to meet the needs of the team or work at hand

- Confident of your skills, abilities and willing to share what you know, while learning from others
